# How do I check privacy at an aesthetic clinic near South-East Melbourne?

Privacy should be part of your decision when choosing an aesthetic consultation in Melbourne. Before booking, ask how your personal and health information is collected, used, stored and accessed, and who will be responsible for your care. What should I ask before booking?

Ask what information the clinic needs, why it is needed, who can access it, where it is stored and how long it is retained. Ask whether photographs, health information and consultation notes are treated differently from marketing information. You can ask for the privacy policy in writing and take time to review it.

Ask how to access or correct your records, how to withdraw marketing consent and who to contact with a privacy concern. Marketing consent should be separate from consent to receive clinical information or follow-up. Clear answers are a useful sign that the clinic takes informed decision-making seriously.

How can I verify the practitioner?
