An excessive sweating consultation at Core Aesthetics is an individual clinical assessment for clients experiencing hyperhidrosis, primarily in the underarm area. Corey Anderson assesses the nature and severity of your sweating, discusses injectable treatment as a prescription option and determines whether treatment is clinically appropriate for you.

If excessive sweating is affecting your daily life, your confidence or how you present professionally, a clinical consultation to discuss treatment options is a worthwhile step. Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition, not a hygiene issue, and effective injectable treatment is available for suitable candidates at Core Aesthetics in Oakleigh.

All consultations at Core Aesthetics are conducted by Corey Anderson, AHPRA registered nurse (NMW0001047575, registered since January 1996), the sole treating practitioner at the clinic.

What the Consultation Covers

Corey will discuss the pattern and severity of your sweating, including the areas most affected and the degree to which it impacts your daily life. He will review your medical history and any previous treatments you have tried. He will then assess whether injectable hyperhidrosis treatment is appropriate for your situation, explain the treatment process including realistic outcomes, duration and risks, and give you a clear recommendation without any obligation to proceed.

For primary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating without an underlying medical cause), injectable treatment is a clinically appropriate option to explore. If there is any possibility of a secondary cause, a GP consultation is also recommended. You can read a full overview of what the treatment involves on our dedicated pages for hyperhidrosis treatment and underarm sweating treatment.

How Injectable Excessive Sweating Treatment Works

Injectable hyperhidrosis treatment uses the same class of prescription product as facial anti-wrinkle treatment, applied to the sweat glands of the affected area rather than to facial muscles. For the underarm area, a series of small, precisely placed injections temporarily reduce sweat gland activity across the treated zone. The result is a meaningful reduction in sweating. Duration varies between individuals but is typically longer than facial anti-wrinkle treatment areas.

This is a prescription treatment regulated by the TGA and administered following individual assessment of suitability. Treatment is only appropriate for primary hyperhidrosis. You can read more about what hyperhidrosis is on our dedicated information page.
