A cosmetic injectables consultation at Core Aesthetics is a broad individual assessment covering anti wrinkle treatments, dermal filler and hyperhidrosis treatment, designed for clients who want to explore the full range of options available before deciding on a direction. All treatments are prescription products individually assessed before recommendation.

A cosmetic injectables consultation is the right starting point for clients who want to understand the full range of options available to them before deciding on a direction. Rather than arriving with a specific treatment in mind and booking directly, you use the consultation to get an individual clinical assessment and a clear, honest recommendation from an experienced practitioner.

At Core Aesthetics in Oakleigh, all consultations are conducted by Corey Anderson, AHPRA registered nurse (NMW0001047575, registered since January 1996), the sole treating practitioner at the clinic.

“There is no obligation to proceed. The consultation is where the honest conversation happens.”

What Can Be Discussed at a Cosmetic Injectables Consultation

A cosmetic injectables consultation at Core Aesthetics can cover the full range of treatments available. These fall into three main categories.

Anti wrinkle treatments use prescription injectable product to temporarily reduce the activity of specific facial muscles, softening expression lines. Treatment areas include forehead lines, frown lines, crows feet, masseter and more. These are discussed in the context of your individual muscle activity and facial anatomy.

Dermal filler treatments use prescription hyaluronic acid based product to restore volume, improve facial structure and address hollows or lines. Treatment areas include cheeks, jawline and chin, tear trough, nasolabial folds and lips. These are assessed as a whole face question rather than a series of individual area decisions.

Hyperhidrosis treatment uses the same class of prescription product as anti wrinkle treatment, placed in the sweat glands of the affected area rather than facial muscles. Available primarily for the underarm area following individual assessment of suitability.

How Corey Approaches the Assessment

Rather than discussing treatments in the abstract, Corey assesses your facial anatomy and skin as a whole first, then maps the clinical picture to the most relevant treatment options for your specific situation. This means the recommendations you leave with are grounded in what your face actually shows rather than what you came in hoping to hear. Where a treatment is not appropriate, or where a different starting point would produce a better outcome, that is exactly what you will be told.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a cosmetic injectables consultation and a more specific consultation type?

A cosmetic injectables consultation is broader in scope, suited to clients wanting an overview of all available injectable options rather than a focused area discussion.

Can I discuss both anti wrinkle and filler options at the same consultation?

Yes. The cosmetic injectables consultation is specifically designed to cover the full range of treatment options at Core Aesthetics.

Will I receive a treatment recommendation at the end?

Yes. Corey will provide an honest clinical recommendation based on your individual assessment, which may include a single treatment, a staged plan, or an honest view that treatment is not the right option at this stage.

How do I book a cosmetic injectables consultation in Melbourne?

Book online via our booking page or call 0491 706 705. Core Aesthetics is at 12A Atherton Road, Oakleigh VIC 3166. Open Tuesday to Saturday by appointment.
